Equations of Prediction in RDC Parameterization < rdctheory.cloud
The Radiatively Driven Circulation (RDC) parameterization only states that the time-averaged component of atmospheric motion will maintain its current equilibrium state. Disturbance component other than the RDC component can be handled by the prediction equations existing in the model, as before. However, only the remainder of the radiative cooling rate that could not be solved by the RDC should be used in the temperature prediction equations. In addition, the disturbance component of the flow alone should satisfy the continuity equation.
