This is the website of Radiatively Driven Circulation (RDC) Theory.
RDC is a mechanism for mass/heat/water vapor transport
from the interior to the exterior of the cumulus cloud
in the Earth's troposphere.
This transport is ignorable when we think meteorological phenomena
such as precipitation and severe storm.
However,
it is important when we think climate changes such as global warming,
because water vapor is one of the effective greenhouse gases
in the atmosphere
and its distribution is determined by the transport out of the cumulus clouds.

the TeX source codes will be displayed instead of the formulas.
We present here a new scheme of cumulus parameterization
based on the Radiatively Driven Circulation (RDC) mechanism
in the atmospheric models used for climate change.
